We are a family run business specialising in the installation of conservatories, windows and doors. In addition, we offer onsite colouring services of UPVC, aluminium and other material and supply home improvement products to the public and trade.
Colourchange UPVC, also trading as Suffolk Conservatory, has been operating for 9 years developing from a building firm that had traded for 20 years. In 2019 Colourchange UPVC was recognised by the Local Enterprise Partnership as one of the fastest growing businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk.
We are looking to recruit a General Manager who will be responsible for all business operations, ensuring continued profitable growth of the business. The successful applicant will operate at director level managing from business acquisition through to aftersales services.
We would expect the successful applicant to:
Be able to demonstrate at least 10 years’ experience in a construction/Home Improvement management role
To have experience that clearly shows the significant contribution made to business growth.
Have a thorough understanding of Health and Safety
Have a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources
To have experience at setting and performing to budgets and targets
Be proficient in the use of IT software packages such as Office, Excel and Word.
Be a team player
Have good organisational skills
Demonstrate and ability to work to deadlines
Have good problem solving skills
Be an excellent communicator
Hold a full driving license
The salary will reflect the experience and seniority of the position. An attractive salary will be complemented by an annual profit share scheme, company car or allowance and pension.
