From the 45 forms received in 2019 the total client satisfaction score was 2,205 out of 2,250 which is 98%. This is the second year in a row that we achieved a 9.8 out of 10 rating. 35 out of the 45 customers gave us a 50 out of 50 rating. (the survey covers the type of work undertaken, time taken to do the work, cleanliness of the team, friendly and professional interaction, overall performance of the fitting team).

"Given a date only to be cancelled at the very last minute, starting over a week later. Roof much higher than promised because it was raining apparently. Be completed that week, we were told not a chance, leaving loose bricks and damaged woodwork. Waited for plasterers, 2 no shows. A week later 2 showed up but a rough job as Tom agreed. Came back but just left a big mess and lots of filling. We held payment as dissatisfied and dimmer switch not fitted. 2 days later found dimmer switch in drive and a terse mail, in the rain. Daryl turned up one evening unannounced to fit the switch but cooking tea so not convenient , so he swore at us and walked off. 5 weeks in all, not 5 days. No regs as forgotten – nightmare. PS. I DO EXPECT TO SEE THIS REVIEW ON THE WEBSITE."

Thank you for the feedback, we had a feeling that you would be expressing your dissatisfaction. We are always disappointed when a customer is not 100% happy. As you indicated we did need to put back the start of the project by a week. We had got through nearly a whole year without having to move any dates but a project ran over and threw the schedule out. We are sorry that moving it back by one week caused a problem for you.
I am afraid that there was a misunderstanding regarding the 5 days. This related to our team doing the roof replacement work. Normally day one is removal of the old roof, installation of the aluminium structure, boarding and making water tight. The aluminium structure is not adjustable so the height was not changed. Day two is installation of the tiling system, from there electrical wiring, insulation, plaster board, fascia, soffits and new gutters. Followed by lead work and a site tidy up ready for the plasterers.
We had trouble with our regular plasterer, in part because of the shift in dates, the replacement team were not to the normal standards and had to return. Again our apologies. The plastering caused the delay, the final fixes could not be completed until the plaster was dry.
We did try to communicate with you, 19 emails and countless telephone calls that were generally not responded too. It was for this reason that we called round unannounced to finish the job. (Daryl didn’t swear at you). You had made it clear that you would not pay until you were fully satisfied, and then you would not confirm a time for us to complete it. When we had completed everything required, to your satisfaction, you still did not pay in line with the contract. It was the first time in 30 years of trading that we had to resort to seeking services from a debit recovery agency.
